I was born in 2002 and am a Belgian photographer currently completing my photography studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. My work often moves along the edge between the visible and the invisible. I seek to capture moments that reveal the complexity of people and places, confronting the viewer in an honest and empathetic way.
My practice is shaped by close observation and long-term engagement. I am interested in how emotions, tensions, and relationships emerge within everyday situations, often beyond what is immediately visible. Through photography, I aim to create images that invite reflection rather than quick consumption.

At this stage, I feel the need to deepen my focus and engage more directly with stories rooted in lived reality — in daily life, and in the social and political forces that shape our environments. I am particularly drawn to documentary and photojournalistic approaches that allow for time, presence, and responsibility toward the people being photographed. I am looking to further develop my work within photojournalism, bringing together empathy, curiosity, and a critical eye to document how people live, adapt, resist, and transform within their surroundings.
